Creating a Speed Dial Using Your Pressy

One of the functions of your Pressy button is to call a contact at a press (or a sequence of presses) of a button. Here's how it works:

  1. Open the Pressy app.

  2. Press the + icon.

  3. Press the "Calls" icon.

  4. Press the "Choose Trigger" button.

  5. If this is the first time you've run the Pressy app, a message like below will show up asking you to make Pressy app your default app for the long presses. You will need to do this twice. This will enable you to have more trigger combinations to choose from.

  6. Choose among the 14 combinations. A long vertical bar represents a long press; a short bar, a short press.

  7. Type in your contact's name or number in the provided field.

  8. Leave the checkbox checked if you want the trigger to be activated even if your phone is locked.

  9. You'll see the trigger listed in your list of triggers now.

  10. Try it out!

Have fun!

I love anything that makes life easier & enjoyable. I don't get things right the first, second or third time around. So, I strongly believe the saying, "If at first you don't succeed, skydiving is not for you."
