One of the best reasons for getting an Android-based Media Player is KODI, and one of the best reasons for using KODI as your media player app are ADD-ONS.
Add-ons allow you to extend the functionality of KODI from being a mere media playing application into an all-playing, all-streaming app that plays back any media format you can throw at it as well as stream content from numerous online sources.
Installing Add-ons on KODI used to be a tedious affair. However, with recent updates, setting up add-ons have become simple button pressing affairs. This guide will see you through installing your first (of many)add-ons.

For our example, we will be installing the USTVnow add-on. USTVnow is a service that lets American expats and military watch US channels over the Internet for free, though there are some paid video-on-demand (VOD) options as well.
I recommend signing up on their web page for free here: https://watch.ustvnow.com/guide. This should make setting up the add-on later much easier.

Once you have set up and verified your account, open your media player and run KODI. We will be assuming that you’re running KODI with version 17.x. Once open, you should see Add-ons on the left column. Highlight “Enter add-on browser” and press OK.

Choose “Install from repository” and then select “Video add-ons”. From here, there is almost an overwhelming number of choices which you can explore later. For now, scroll down until you find USTVnow. Press OK to check out a few details about the add-on, then select Install to start the installation.

The add-on will now be downloaded and you will be informed when it’s done. Once the add-on has been installed (all automatic), you will now see USTV NOW under Add-ons in the main screen.

Aside from USTVnow, you can see uEPG add-on – don’t worry about it. Installing add-ons usually involve installing other add-ons that are needed to make things work. With this in mind, make sure not to install too many add-ons as it can either make your media player run slower or potentially cause conflicts and issues, especially when installing beta or unofficial add-ons.

When you run USTVnow for the first time, it will ask you to sign-in. Just use the username and password you registered with (if you haven’t, you can either follow the create account button or head to their site here: https://watch.ustvnow.com/guide on your phone or PC’s browser).
Using USTVnow is pretty easy. Just press the USTV now icon under add-ons and you’ll see a number of choices. Pressing LIVE shows you what’s currently playing and SCHEDULES lets you see what can watch now or later in the day.
That’s it! It’s a pretty simple button pressing affair and you can start watching TV on your WeTek easily and for free. Feel free to explore the repository for more add-ons that might interest you. I recommend doing so one at a time, installing, using then deciding whether or not it’s something you’d want to keep. Similarly, if you encounter problems with older add-ons, make sure to remember the last add-on(s) you installed to see if that’s the culprit.

We will cover KODI add-ons in greater detail in the next few articles. In the meantime, enjoy your free TV!
